Myra Sable is a renowned name in food. As founder and proprietor of Sable & Rosenfeld, which manufactures and distributes a line of gourmet condiments, she has occupied a special place in the food pantheon for 22 years.

Her previous cookbook, Sable & Rosenfeld Elegant Entertaining (Bantam), published in 1986, is still cherished by American cooks. Food shops and customers across the country issue regular pleas for copies.

In this new cookbook, Myra Sable and colleague Colleen Mathieu select about 200 recipes which have become classics or standards, and add about 100 new ones which reflect the light and easy way we want to eat and cook today.
